Right now, hundreds of SouthLight clients face losing access to life-saving treatment.
We need your help to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Your year-end gift will keep someone connected to their counselor, psychiatrist, or nurse at SouthLight—the person who knows their story and walks alongside them in early recovery.
For 55 years, SouthLight has served anyone who walks through our doors, regardless of their ability to pay. That promise is a lifeline for thousands of people struggling with addiction and mental illness.
But new threats are emerging. Pending cuts to Medicaid eligibility and reimbursement rates could leave hundreds of SouthLight clients without access to care. And even for those who remain covered, Medicaid often doesn’t pay the full cost of treatment.
Today, more than 2,000 people receive care at SouthLight each month—twice as many as just three years ago—thanks in part to Medicaid expansion in North Carolina. That progress is at risk.
We don’t turn people away. But we can’t do this without you.
“SouthLight has been INSTRUMENTAL in being one of the main cornerstones of my recovery…I’m 6 months sober now after 20+ years of daily drug and drinking. If you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, SouthLight is the place for you.” —recent quote from a SouthLight client
Your year-end gift ensures that people in crisis can access real help…and real hope.
Every dollar helps protect access to high-quality, comprehensive care—no matter what changes come. Make your gift today at www.southlight.org/donate.
