This May, SouthLight celebrates 50 years of serving our community. Since our humble beginnings on May 4, 1970, our vision has evolved, but our mission has remained the same: providing quality and accessible care for those living with substance use and mental health challenges.
In 1970 the seed was planted, and the foundation for five decades of quality, compassionate care was established. What started as a grassroots effort is now one the oldest and largest providers of both behavioral health and substance use services in the Triangle area.
Today, we are stronger than ever. SouthLight has eight office locations throughout the Triangle area, offering unique care services including, but not limited to adolescent and family services, judicial services, peer support services, and residential services for women and children.
Even in these times of uncertainty, we remain open and dedicated to providing the best possible comprehensive care for our clients no matter where they are on their journeys.
